As a life coach I work with people in all stages of life. I have found that true transformation holds both challenge and success. I love it! Each one of us can a create a life we love!
Recently I caught up with Mary; we currently work together monthly. She is living proof of a life gaining momentum towards peace. In the past two years she has almost accomplished her professional goals. She is also healthier; much stronger and balanced.
With that being said, lately she was feeling overwhelmed. We discussed her current work, home, and love life. She is managing to balance her busy life, and has accomplished a tremendous amount of positive change. She has gone from crying on the bath room floor because of a failed marriage, to becoming a courageous independent woman.
She has gone from having no clear idea of how to support herself, to becoming a professional in her chosen field.
Her home and family continue to require balance and patience. She is doing it all with- out the support of a life partner. This is her crunch time, finishing her education, working and raising children. Mary recognized she was so caught up in the tasks at hand; she had forgotten to enjoy her huge successes. She has accomplished so much, and yet was not feeling the excitement.
Perfect! I was excited to help her identify where she is currently losing her energy; her vitality. Soon Mary would unplug from the energy drain and experience the joys of success! This is a reminder of the need to pause, and look at the big picture of our life. The risk of not connecting and acknowledging personal success, can leave us feeling stressed and over- burdened.
The first place we looked into was her work environment. She shares her office with many people. There is a high level of disruptions and chaos due to the nature of the business. Her manager prefers to work in an unorganized fashion. The manager also shares personal stories that bring an unprofessional energy into the work environment. This all adds up to big stress! Fortunately, she will be in her own office in a few months.
Recognizing potential stressors and managing how you react to them is huge. It also helps to stop the flow of negative energy. We developed a plan of preventing the manager from dumping her personal problems. Having clear boundaries in the work place keeps the environment productive and professional. Knowing that she will soon have her own work space is also a de- stressor. We also discussed pre paving her work days. She is taking control of her environment.
We then examined her social life. She is blessed with a nice network of friends and family. The only challenge with this is, she has grown and changed. Not all of her family and friends have the ability to keep up with where she is now. Some of them like the old version of her. She had different expectations for herself and her life a few years ago. There is an adjustment period in teaching people how she wants to be treated.
She has not officially entered the dating world after her divorce. How -ever she does occasionally spend time with a long- time friend that happens to be male. Their relationship has not changed much from high school. He shares all his successes and problems with her, and she is not receiving any emotional support from him. She also recognizes that spending time in a relationship that doesn’t emotionally fulfill her is draining. The age of the relationship also keeps her connected to old patterns, beliefs, feelings and prevents her from finding a healthier relationship.
Mary inspires me. She has begun putting clear boundaries on her time and relationships. She is ready to date again and is clear on how her new partner will treat her. Her life is a beautiful example of how we continually shift and grow .
Most of us can relate to pieces or even all of what my client was experiencing. Life is a dance of balancing our inner truth, courage, beliefs and making sense of our feelings. Luckily there is a steady flow of energy that brings clarity and the answers we seek. We are all just where we should be .. When we are individually or collectively ready for awareness and joy.. It’s all here.
The idea that we are connected by our thoughts and words strung together; that this allowed us to form an identity is not quite correct. We are all so much more. We have created an illusion that we are part of the energy of the thoughts and words that bind us together, but we ultimately exist in a pure state. Thoughts and words can be an entrapment. They are illusion. In the space of all that is, you vibrate at a level of no return. It’s moving beyond sight, sound, words and even feelings.
Yes, feeling is the next step to understanding eternity (from where we are in human form) it’s to feel above all else .. but the feeling will evolve to just awareness or or completeness.. there is no more, all else falls away.
If you can imagine.. there is the you that walks the Earth.. The next level is awareness of the canopy of words and thoughts of eternity that bind us together. Next is the awareness of feelings, sensations of all. That is the last illusion or barrier to transcend .. the last illusion of separation..
and beyond the barrier of thoughts and words, and then barrier of compassion and awareness, rests completeness .. I could go on to say eternity.. but this is a place of no words .. no ideas.. no separation..
We are all in various forms of transcending or becoming all.. We are in the process of letting go of ideas, thoughts , beliefs. As this happens the energy of the heart center expands and this allows more compassion and even wonder for the life / death and rebirth cycle . As we evolve we begin to operate using our senses.. This is where sight, hearing , and feeling blend into one form of communication.. one being.. one vibration.. the next phase is the separate beings that vibrate on the same frequency become the same, no separation ..but there is transcendence beyond the vibration of collective form.. and this dissolves or if you prefer becomes complete all one.
End of channel
I struggle with finding the word to describe our highest form. It is a place that has no separation. I see the steps of spiritual evolution that leads us. I see the place as wholeness, all that is.. but it is greater than that. It is the complete form of all; all that is. I am tempted to describe it as a void; although a void hints at something missing. Our final state is missing nothing...
I will continue to dive deeper into the knowing and share as I learn.
